How it works

When you hold your wedding at The Elms there are no ‘packages’ which restrict your ideas – we meet with you – listen to what you have in mind and are delighted to tailor make your time with us to suit you.

 

  • There are no unpleasant surprises or hidden extras.
  • You would have exclusive use of The Elms Barn itself and marquee area for 2 days, to prepare for the wedding day, for pre wedding day dinner/BBQ (marquee), for post wedding BBQ (marquee and garden), or lunch on the Sunday (barn) prior to your guest’s departure.
  • Our front of house manageress, will take you through the all important full wedding ceremony rehearsal.
  • Civil ceremony in the Barn.
  • The bridal bedroom for preparation and the night following the wedding.
  • 25 x 60 marquee, fully lined, floored and heated with tables and chairs if required (check what others charge for this!).
  • Car park adjacent to the Barn for 60 cars with overflow car park if required.
  • Extensive gardens for mingling, relaxation and photography.
  • Full assistance in producing a table plan and menu cards.
  • Full activities list so you may add a different dimension to your stay at The Elms.
  • Contacts list to help with local hairdresser, beauticians, music, bed and breakfast, taxis, etc.
  • Complete provision of all those extras, which quietly inflate the bill at the end; tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, crockery, glass, cake stand and, yes the cake knife.
  • Use of the Bentley.
