Dear Adrian,
Over the last few months and weeks, we have had the pleasure of dealing with you regarding the occasion of my daughter Kimberley’s wedding. I just wanted to drop you a personal note (apologies it is via e-mail) to thank you to and all your colleagues for the whole experience. From the inception and planning stages to the big day itself including all the finishing touches, I have to compliment you and your team and cannot praise you all enough for laying on such a wonderful day. We have been overwhelmed by the positive comments that we received from the guests – comments like “this is the best family wedding they have ever been to” and “where did you find this stunning venue”.
I would be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to all involved, from bar staff, the serving team, the chefs and cooks and kitchen staff (who work tirelessly behind the scenes and who received so many compliments for the quality of the food), the ladies who cook breakfast the following day, the florists and also to Amanda. On the day Amanda helped us in so many ways and without whom we would have been lost at times – she was always there making us feel completely relaxed knowing that every thing was completely covered. She even watched over a sleeping baby whilst we all had our pictures taken.
You listened to our needs and understood them, and I cannot praise the efficiency of your service high enough. In a service-orientated world where customer service is paramount, I feel that you and the whole team delivered against all 7 principles of customer care which I believe are so important:
1. They were interested in us;
2. It was easy to do Business with you;
3. You knew what you were doing and satisfied our needs;
4. You did what you said you would do;
5. You exceeded our expectations;
6. We feel we made the right decision;
7. We had a great experience.
Although we only had the pleasure of dealing with you and Amanda, I realise that a whole team Elms backs you up and therefore this is as true to them as it is to you. It was indeed a stunning venue, which was so fitting for such a stunning bride.Mr and Mrs T M Rowe.
